路Did the price change for anyone between original reservation time and when you visited the store?
I'm noticing now that the MSRP has gone up ~1200 USD on the Omega page. At reservation time it was around 43000 HKD (I have a screenshot on another computer), but when I look on the Omega page today, it's showing 52300 HKD.
I want to avoid any uncomfortable surprise in-store.
Edit: I stand corrected - I mis-remembered the price. For some reason, I had 43K HKD in my head, but my own screenshot from July shows it as 52K...
Now if I could only remember what I told the wife... 馃槣

Its 52,250 HkD. So guess the wife will be happy to have 50 HkD for a dessert to make her feel extra special before you tell her

路Got a call last Monday from the Aussie CEO of omega to say the boutique would call me Friday ( which they did ) and was posted up yesterday so that's 8 days from first call to paid and on its way from boutique.
Yeah I think somebody messed up(probably Ernest Jones, they called me 6 weejs ago to say it would be in store that week or the next) . As it happens I don't think I'm in the situation to be able to buy it anyway馃檨 so will just keep waiting and hope my circumstances change by the time I do get the final call.

Very good price in Malaysia. In Manila, the price will be Php350,000 (equivalent to RM26,900).

路Picked mine up today. It's my first manual and hesalite speedmaster (have a MarkII reissue). I was a little annoyed when I realized the movement didn't hack, but found that the same trick I used on seiko 7s26 movement also works on the 1861.
- Absolutely paranoid about marking the hesalite up.
- In office lighting, the dial seems a bit ho-hum. Nothing to write home about. In direct sunlight, it really comes alive.
- Ordered the speedy pro bracelet to go with it. Looking forward to seeing the combination in person.
