Congrats on the new arrivals! And I have a fairytale to share with OF... a good friend of mine wasn't able to get an allocation for ST2. By some miraculous chance, someone on a local forum decided to give his up. Where's the miracle in this all? Well... I managed to pick it up for my friend, and for not a single cent over retail. There are good people in this world. Yes, they exist!!

After living with it for 24hrs, I like it even more now. The red/orange adds visual interest, yet is still very discrete. Only an enthusiast will understand the significance of the coloration, and thats fine with me. The "vintage" lume is very close to my 1992's tritium patina - the best match i've seen so far, and better than my 60th anniversary Speedy.

Love quality feedback like this. Thanks, Watchmutt.

As I see; the tachymètre bezel of Ultraman ST#2 is of matt finish black whereas it’s shiny black on normal Speedmaster Moonwatch.

Yes. There are selfless people all around. Congrats to your friend. So your friend was on the waiting list or a private arrangement between him and the one who gave up?

My friend is still on the wait list, but I reckon chances are slim. The ST2 above was a private arrangement between the two; besides forwarding the email confirmation, the kind person also sent an email to his local OB to inform them of the change, and who was coming to collect. Certainly went above and beyond.

#03XX reporting in from Lexington, MA USA. Photos above in the thread are stunning but watch and package themselves are much better in person. I'm going to put it on a Snoopy strap.

Received #1040 today in Windsor Canada. As many have said, it looks great in person and hard to capture in pictures. Very happy with it.

Excellent job @Robert-Jan and Omega!

Can somebody help, what bracelet would fit the ST2?
I'm looking for the bracelet, that is on the current standard Moonwatch (so the modern speedy bracelet, with screws).

update: I've found it
1958/957 or 020STZ004193
(or the older one with pins is the 1998/849)

I’ve just noticed 31 for sale on Chrono24. Is it me or is that rather a lot?

... That’s a bit much ... I can’t believe that many people will pay $10k for this watch

Really getting anxious to get mine. Seeing everyone get their watch is driving me crazy. Called boutique today and no info yet.
