Still pondering strap options as I wait for my call...

Anybody know of a decent sailcloth-style strap similar to the one on the Snoopy but with black or orange stitching? Not looking to spend a fortune, as I’m fairly sure my ST2 will spend most of it’s time on steel, but I’m toying with the idea of a sailcloth option with a deployant.

Hirsch Robby comes in black sailcloth with orange stitching but the orange won't closely match the Ultraman colour. They have red stitch too but it'll probably be the same issue with not really matching. I think Ultraman is somewhere in between.

Picked up my Ultraman #034X today in Scottsdale, AZ, USA. As others have expressed, photos do not do this watch justice. I hope most of them end up in the hands of those who will truly enjoy them. This is now my favorite Speedmaster. After seeing the Ultraman NATO I had to go with the white center stripe NATO for my 3570.50. I think it looks cool with the strap stripe matching the Chrono second hand. Further proof that considerable thought went into the Ultraman.

I am glad many people are saying that the watch looks better in person compared to photos. Some of the non-press photos were a bit underwhelming.

Furthemore, it looks great on bracelet. However, I prefer the fully brushed bracelets rather than the ones with polished bits.

I’m strangely enjoying the Ultraman more than the first few days of ownership of my DaytonaC..

I don't usually like the modern bracelet but that looks spectacular.👍

Time for Omega to reissue brushed steel bracelets for its speedmasters, the current clasp design is a shame

The Speedmaster is so much more legible than the Daytona. I think the Speedy is the ultimate chronograph, and the Ultraman ST2 is my new all-time favorite. No doubt, the Daytona is a classic and is gorgeous, but it's a little small for me and the dial looks a tad cramped for my taste. While I do appreciate the storied history of the Daytona, it's just not for me. In fact, I never truly enjoyed the look of many models until the ceramic bezels came out. Hard to argue against any watch worn by Steve McQueen though. 😀

Who else still not received a message from Omega or a retailer? I’m getting a little bit impatient when I see the pics….

No word on my 11XX yet in the UK, no rush as I’m away on holiday at the moment.
