Seems like those that started to receive emails are under 0050 so far. Hoping that mine in the 300s make the first batch too . I’m just too excited.
For the people on waiting lists, does omega randomly allocate watches that have not been picked up, to those on the waiting list? Or do they follow a first come first serve basis with the waiting list too? I got on the waiting list Jul 25th...quite a while after all the hype died down... Just assessing my chances
Received message from Omega 2 minutes ago. My ST2 with number 7XX is still in production and will arrive in September. ST2 deliveries in general start this month and will continue all through November. Share the word...
Well, I'll start with this first. As for your chances if you just put your name down on July 25th, truthfully, I wouldn't say your chances are very good. I wish you the best of luck on getting one but I think you're pretty far down the list. Omega will most likely go down the list in order and that person up will probably have to commit immediately or they will move on. the other thing i'm not sure if it will be based on a country/region waiting list. meaning that if a person in the US that has a reservation backs out, they will go to the first person on the list located in the US. I doubt Omega will move a piece from one country to another. From what I have heard too, Omega cancelled reservations that was made multiple times under one person/household. but don't quote me on that.... it's just what I've heard.
But really, best of luck to you on getting one direct from Omega. If not, there's always the secondary market. If you like it enough you will pay for it right? shit, I paid a premium last year on ST1 cause I wanted one so bad. If I had waited, I would've paid close to retail. no regrets at this point though. it's still one of my favorite Speedmasters
my LE number is in the 300's and I also got the notification today to expect delivery by the end of the month. of all the one's my 2 local boutiques are getting, its the first!
it's so tempting to sell it at a premium and taking advantage of the early delivery but then I won't have a Ultraman of my own to go with my SpeedyTuesday1 and other Speedy LE's.😀
I guess that blows the numerical order theory then because I'm high 200's and haven't heard a peep yet.
Not complaining though as I was among the first to receive the ST1 so very lucky there.

awesome! another lucky person that will have both ST1 and ST2. Congrats!
There is hope for you. The boutique I chose to pick it up from got the email, then they notified me. Maybe your OB/AD that you chose didn't get around to notifying you. Maybe they just don't want to overpromise and under deliver.
Thanks , but sadly I had to sell my ST1 a few months ago and I'm not yet sure I'll be able to buy the ST2 yet either. Money is very tight for me lately and as a small business owner is never easy going. Still in remaining hopeful for now and will see what happens.
