I just logged in to the Speedy Tuesday Facebook site where they exampled some greedy **** has already advertised an, as yet undelivered, ST#2 for sale at €15k. Whether he’s allowed to do this or attains the said asking price are two totally different matters I suspect?
There is one on Chrono24 for €8k which is considerably cheaper but still a lot of money for something that the seller doesn't have.😒

And probably won’t now get due to advertising their services on Chrono24 👍

You have to request being added to the group, and then answer several questions that we easily know the answers to but bots and most people wouldn’t know (ie: how many ST’s have been released)
Thanks for the tip about the group. Just asked to join and answered the 3 questions - now sitting here sweating on whether I got the correct answers. 😕

Greedy and stupid! Honestly does he really think he will get anywhere near that figure? Personally I can't see these trading much above retail.

I think that’s debatable - for another day maybe! 😀

Got a call today from the Boutique, they say late August / early September. Considering I picked up my Speedy Tuesday over Labor Day weekend last year it'd be a fun coincidence to do so again with the ST2

So wdoes this mean that Omega will send us an email once the watch has been shipped out to our preferred pick up point?
For the #ST(1) I believe I had an email from Omega about one week before the OB called to let me know it was ready to be paid for/ picked up.

Follow Up: I just went back through old emails. Omega sent me an email indicating the #ST was being shipped, and the OB sent me a confirmation of the same the next day, and then an email that it was in the store and ready for pick up 8 days later (this is in the US).

Is the HQ already telling their boutiques about the details of the ST2 pickup?

Apparently the HQ notified them of the timeline but that's about it; once the watch arrives at the Boutique it's up to them to work with the customer on how they wish to pick it up etc.

Just a heads up that we’ll require many, many photos in multiple angles and lighting since you’ll be one of the first on OF to get one. 😁

Hah, that'd be nice, since I was way down the line for the first one 😀

I just hope we don't have a nasty heatwave this time around - it took me a few days to be enthusiastic about anything at all, much less a watch, last Labor Day weekend! (For the record, I now consider the ST1 to be an all-timer)

Just got an email from my OB that my speedy will be here by 8/24!
What’s your LE number, and where are you located?

003x
Texas

Is there a reason people don’t post the whole LE number? Wasn’t sure why but did it too. Haha

Just to keep some level of mystery... at least that’s why I did.

Seems like those that started to receive emails are under 0050 so far. Hoping that mine in the 300s make the first batch too . I’m just too excited.

Hey guys, this is my first time buying an Omega watch. I'm still relatively young to be buying such watches so Im pretty new to this world.
Anyway, I was just wondering.. on the Omega site it's written "Recommended price" for the watch, you who have already bought Omegas, do they respect this recommended price or could I expect a different price once my turn comes and I'm at the OB?
Thanks and excuse me if this sounds logical or a dumb question, I'm just starting out on this new journey!

If you are in the US, the price they previously indicated is 99.999% likely to be the final price. Plus applicable sales tax. And zero negotiating; if you choose not to take it at the price, then it goes to someone on the waiting list.
