The Apollo 15 mission logo even has, on the rightside, a Roman number XV sitting among the lunar craters ... I have seen David Scott wearing this bi-toned Omega Speedmaster chronograph.
It is better on the strap actually. I've also seen some on a brown leather strap, which looks very nice as well.

Definitely underappreciated. Would be perfect if the crown & pushers were steel IMO - if this design hadn't already been used for the XV-35, would have been great for the Apollo XI 50th.
i've always likes this model and picked one up just before christmas. its beautiful in the flesh. definitely underrated in my opinion. had not noticed the XV on the caseback i don't have a wrist shot as it is currently being serviced with Simon Freese i will post when it returns
