Not only was the 25th anniversary unnumbered edition of the 1994 Speedmaster chronograph with open display caseback, the best Apollo 11 anniversary edition.
It only mentioned First Watch Worn On The Moon ( a correction of the older AND ONLY :D ) and when I bought it, it came with a free hardcover edition of Omega's own publication " The Moon Watch " book
Curious to see if Omega did an effort to bring out another publication for the 50th anniversary Apollo 11 ::book::

Hmmm, this is something I haven’t thought about yet. Curious as well as I think that would be a nice touch to garner more interest in yet another LE. But who am I kidding, there will be interest.

I can't wait to see what they will release for the 50th anniversary... Maybe a standard edition and a LE as well... Can we think about some materials which were in space like the watches Romain Jerome did a few years ago with metal from space ships along moon meteorite dust...

Well I hope they will release something uninteresting or else I will spend my whole budget...

We can be 100% sure there will be a Gold version as 50 years counts as a Gold anniversary :whistling:

Very interested to see what they do. I have the yellow from 1969 (BA145.022), the Apollo XI straight writing to match it, and white gold Apollo XI limited edition (3692.30). Went a bit overboard but love them all.

I'll try and take a picture when I get home. I actually really like the package looking like a vintage book.

Admittedly not great pictures but came with lots of materials, booklets, warrentee card and a transparent sheet describing the model and another with chronometer info. I think that's all but I'm sure others would know better than I.

Mine is not the numbered limited edition of the 20th anniversary of Apollo XI, but here is the watch with extras, from 1990, including hang tag. Check out the retail price on the tag. Since I worked for an Omega dealer at the time, and they wanted me to wear an Omega (not one of my Rolex watches) while at work, I bought this one for dealer cost!
