Well, my Tintin is on its way for a dial change. BTW, I dont get it why no mayor website has picked up on the tintin meteoric rise this year. I would guess it would warrant some kind of attention
It's something that I have been pondering for the longest time as well. Considering rjb's article made waves for the prices of the tintin, it's strange that other websites haven't picked up on the hype
Hi, sorry to introduce myself so abruptly but my intentions are good I'm roberto, from Rome-Italy, just passed by and wanted to congratulate all the contributors of this topic which I found very interesting, useful and entertaining. I'm a Tintin fan as well, own a couple and wanted to give my contribution, sharing the serial numbers: 777807xx 777976xx Just for fun I've tried to imagine how the Tintin would have looked like, had the collaboration with the Hergé Foundation led to a happier outcome: Here's a decent (to my poor standards as a photographer) picture of the watch: and that's a funny shot, at least I hope, taken at an event which took place lately at the Omega boutique in Rome: Thank you again, Viva Tintin!
Someone just tell me to unwrap my new tintin and wear it. I checked the accuracy and power reserve but I have never had a watch at home all wrapped in plastic before. I want to take off the bracelet and put on a nice black rally strap. Get it out of the house. I bought it to wear not be in a safe.
Little bracelet changing tool is coming after that bracelet soon. I’ll put that bracelet in my box next to it’s 1479 cousin.
That’s great if it’s worn every day for last 3 years!! We all would love to see plenty of photos of that splendid watch. Please post them as many as you can!!

You need 200 posts to sell it here. You can probably edit the 'want to sell' part out of your post, and just leave the serial # info.
Close but the real prototype at the Omega Museum has the rocket going clockwise at the 10:30 position
Insist on gettng the old dial back - you may want to change it back if they don't replace for an original run one they mind hand print a new one and make it worse
