i know they haven't....but some on here don't seem to realise that. The last NOS one Kringkily sold in July on here was $4.7k and I bought a NOS a few weeks earlier at just over $4.5k. . The one above is current and under $5k, so there's 3 in the last 8 weeks all under $5k.

You would not believe the amount of emails I get about the TinTin.... I think I sold too cheap...

I think finally getting a confirmed edition size changed everything for me. With the amount of NOS ones pouring in a year ago, I thought there were over 10k TinTins and the supply never seemed to run out. Now that I know there are less, it feels a bit more special.

If someone is willing to pay, go ahead and raise the asking prices. I'll sit on the sidelines and observe

I really don't understand what all the fuss was about in that other thread. If someone is "pimping" their Tintin, who cares? I mean it's not like Joe Blow on Omega Forums is going to drive up demand on all on his own. Besides, the prices for these are indeed moving up from what I've seen. Best price I've seen is 25% more than I paid a month ago. And while Chrono24 isn't indicative of the entire market, best price I saw there last time I checked as 50% more. I'm not trying to "pimp" my watch, but that's what I've been seeing. I will admit too that I in part got it based on some of the "hype" and speculation. That said I've worn it a few times and I've quite enjoyed it.

Just over $3800, but not full set.

That almost sounds like the price Crown & Caliber was selling them for a few months ago. Is that where you got it?

Congrats, so now we have 2 recent confirmed sale prices in the last month.

1 for watch head (i presume) at just over $3800, and 1 for a NOS full set at $4750.

If anyone looks on here for recent prices.... that info is alot better than saying Tintin's are on chrono24 at $8k.

But that doesn't fit the narrative that TinTin prices are exploding or heading to Silver Snoopy levels.

Yes. Got it early July.

That is a clean watch. Back in March, they had like 7 or 8 and since I live in Atlanta right around the corner I made an appointment and went in to look at their inventory. All their watches were super clean and priced exactly the same but only 1 had box and papers and the bracelet was missing links and too small to fit me. If it would have fit me I would have walked out with it.

Congrats, so now we have 2 recent confirmed sale prices in the last month.

I got mine in early July and it was $4500 for NOS but when I was looking at that time it was by far the cheapest and best offer out there. I was in touch with everyone who had one listed and price negotiation was minimal at best. The seller of that NOS above didn't have one on hand. I decided the one I found was a good deal so I jumped on it. The prices have definitely gone up since I started seriously thinking about buying a Tintin back in the late fall of last year. $8K is not the market value yet but it's definitely getting close to $5K+.

I agree.... prices are slowly moving up. I own a NOS fullset myself which I bought for $4600 around 10 weeks ago. They are ticking up slowly.

If anyone has recent confirmed sale prices please post on here so we can all see where they are going.

Since this is for fun...… "Could the Omega Speedmaster Tintin be the next Paul Newman Daytona?" believe it or not, I did not write this headline....it is from Reolution.Watch

"The Internet is Abuzz with the Speedmaster Tintin" FratelloWatches….did not write this either

Some for sale prices on the web....I did not put these up for sale....this is purely for entertainment purposes
$7978
$5781
$6821
$6359
$5866
$6002
Tambowatches on eBay has one at $3992. But this guy removes the stainless steel bracelets and sells separately. This kinda irritates a person. He or she is like the gun store that sells new guns and takes the extra magazines out and sells separately.

I purchased mine (early July) for $4K SS bracelet, speedmaster box, no papers. Have ordered a custom strap from Dangerous9 for almost $600. I even gave serial number up for info.

Maybe the other Tintin thread could be merged...I get confused on which thread to pimp my watch on.
This is a keeper watch. But if somebody offers stupid money for it...………..
