The enthusiasm for this thread swayed me to go get the one I found. Enjoy it!
I know what you mean. On the hunt for one now. Hoping to get a good price.

Good luck with it! I was iffy about it at first. Liked it more than a standard Speedy but bought it because it was a good price. Since March, I find myself wearing it more and more and staring at the dial. Something about the dial and how it catches the light. Definitely eye catching and a bit unexpected. Well worth the hunt. Good luck again!

I will admit I never wear my 2015 Speedy because the TinTin is my go-to. I think only the #ST and/ or 60th Anniv will compete with the TinTin for regular wrist time.

I am right there with you (minus ST- I am not on that list- before my time on here)

Thanks guys! Because of this thread and my further research on this model, I took the plunge yesterday and just wired funds to the seller of a BNIB one. Now the wait is on. I will confirm serial and share my own pics asap!

TinTin time!

Congrats, looks like these are getting harder to find BNIB. I'm still on the lookout for one.

There are one or two sellers in the Watches for Sale subforum that have BNIBs.

The watch now officially is incoming (meaning tracking code has arrived and the "real" waiting can start).

I saw a picture of the warranty card. The serial number is a beautiful 7777829x

Congrats! I have one in-bound as well from overseas. Hoping the red-white race-track is as vivid as it appears in the photos!

It tends to 'pop' quite a bit. Pictures do not do it justice at all. Congrats!

Received my Speedmaster Tin Tin and the red-white racetrack doesn't disappoint. I fussed over whether to buy the Tin Tin vs. the standard moonwatch but I'm happy with the splash of color. For those tracking serial numbers, mine is in the 77778XXX range.

Your courier service was quicker than mine! Congratulations! Mine is "somewhere" as tracking provided shows no detail except that it has left the country....for the 3rd day now. Hate that.

Watch finally appeared in the country but was handed over to the slowest customs office, ran by our postal service. Not the courier service I had been expecting. I do not have so much patience for stuff like that.... I know, all part of the anticipating and free before-arrival "fun" but no, I would not care skipping that part of the customer journey. I have plenty of straps waiting:

A very special rally strap prepared specially for me by Dstrap (Olaf Lugten):

And some straps to try out from Watchgecko:

Sorry to hear about the delay! Mine went through EMS and luckily no delays through customs. Looks like you have more than enough straps for your Tin Tin!

Here EMS as well. But the problem is they hand over to our local postal service who are not up to speed with their competition.

As a microbrand owner and dealer of several micro brands I exclusively use FedEx since a few years for all deliveries and imports. It has made my life considerably easier. All after very poor experiences with the local postal service, so I am a bit prejudiced I admit.

I can wait. I just feel myself staring at other Omega watches, planning the next one on the list. Perhaps another racing dial....
