Having walked away from one of these earlier in the year, the OB at Royal Exchange got one in, which I've been to try today.

Thinking about it over the weekend, but it's looking like it will come home with me next week.

It's a lovely thing on the wrist, the dial, case back, bezel, and bracelet all being different to the one I've been wearing since 2002 - it comes with a 2 year warranty, and they've offered the first service for free as part of the deal (has to be taken within the first 5 years of ownership, but is transferable if I decide to sell it) - it's just a chunk of cash... so I wan't the weekend to ponder. :)

I know we all have our favourites but that OB is in a beautiful location and the service has always been exemplary for myself and friends. It's always nice and calm inside compared with the hustle and bustle of what is going on outside.

I'd try and budget (time & money) for a celebratory cocktail in the Royal Exchange after your momentous purchase.

They're a really nice team, and it's just around the corner from the office.

Not sure that lunchtime cocktails would go down well with the work folk... ;)

Easily fixed ... don't go at lunchtime.

They might find some bubbles for you in the OB if you go after work!

Finding that I've become an expert on fires... Which ones to put out, and which ones to let burn into oblivion! ;)

And Andy... Those are bloody awful!

Bam.. Got in some days ago.. Received an Omega space-suite-strap as well, decided to modify it, for a tighter fit.
    What do you think guys?

Shows that a really jet-black strap suits the Tintin admirably.

Yes, it does. And the best thing is that it has ultra micro adjustment ;)
Was thinking about getting an Omega mesh bracelet too, but maybe it's too rough for my tiny wrist..

What a great thread! Just spent a good hour or so reading through the whole thing.....

I sure am hooked on this model. May have to pull the trigger when I get back to the States in a few weeks! :)
