Wristy, please? I think that each person that ends up with a Tintin should post a wrist pic here as the first port of call, and for the who haven't done so yet do so, I mean why not? This has been such a great and informative thread why not keep it alive.
View attachment 947272 Here are some pics of my new acquisition. Last picture is the Tintin with two its Omega stablemates: a Seamaster Olympic and the Speedmaster From Moon to Mars on a Colareb strap... would love to hear anyone’s thoughts.
. Great collection you have there. It's the kind of variation on a theme I like and the Tintin adds a real contrast.
The Tintin seems to fit between a dress watch and a sport watch, meaning I can easily wear it with a suit or a T-shirt.
for fuller context, my other pieces are: Rollie ceramic Submariner Date, 1979 Datejust on jubilee, 1953 Oyster Perpetual (my dad's) Glasshute Original PanoInverse XL 2013, IWC portuguese chrono, ref IW371466
Great pics! Just a question: the end bar os the Fostner hit the case between the lugs or is it free to turn? I'm interested in buying a Fostner band... Thank you!
Yes, the Forstner band: I would like to know if the end links are free to turn around the spring bars or if the insert in the middle of the end links hit the case inside the lug...
The market on TInTin's is very up and down. I remember when they were selling for well under RRP, people couldnt give them away, now they are seemingly a collectors novelty piece. I love the pop of colour and is a great addition for variety in an modern speedy collection.
