Prices seem to be going down! Hehe. Heck, by July tintins will be selling for less than the original retail price 😉

Watch prices seem to be out of wack since Rolex decided not to make ss professional series watches ever again...eh hmm, there’s a “shortage.”

It will be interesting to see what happens to tintin prices once Rolex starts making watches again.

Before you get too excited 10k AUD is what the O.P wants to pay for a NOS Tintin fullset on a facebook WTB ad.

Oh! Haha. That’s another matter. Well, nothing ventured nothing gained, and nothing wrong with wishful thinking.

Also, don't get caught up in one post. Use Chrono24's watch collection feature and Watchrecon.com to check prices. More data equals better decisions. From what I've seen the price of a Tintin is not going down.

Looks to be no real movement in the market price to me looking at it just now.

My thinking on this is forget about price movements up or down and just enjoy wearing the watch you purchased. If it stops being enjoyable then move it on for whatever price you can get and find the next one that will be enjoyable for however long.

It's all about the inside 😁

Super cool Lego set! Is that tied to Destination Moon and Tintin? I don't know much about the story or Tintin in general but if this is based on the story is that how it depicts the inside of their rocket?

would make a great Lego Ideas project - good luck getting moulinsart to approve that one

There are more than a few companies that don't seem to have a good grasp on how Active Asset partnerships work. A bit like Coca Cola knocking back the opportunity to be included in the lyrics of the Kinks' Lola, eventually forcing Ray Davies to use Cherry-Cola instead - free advertising in perpetuity fritted away through short sightedness.

A song whose lyrics include allusions to transvestism and gay sex. I can't think why Coca Cola, one of the world's most conservative mega-companies would shy away from such a link. Anyhow, if the song's wiki page it to be believed, the words were in fact changed because the BBC wouldn't play songs which included suspected product placement and initially banned it for this reason.
