Sellers remorse. I sold my Tintin one year ago for USD 5.500, and I have regretted ever since.

What is a realistic price in todays market for a Tintin? And what is the price expectation for the next 5 years

It appears to me that pretty much all Tintin's with intend to sell have changed hands, and the only one offered are the ones with "at a high price i'll be willing to let it go". No cheap ones anymore. Don't want to rub it in, but i guess your "regrett ever since" is exactly why there will only be Tintin's at a serious premium (bar the needle/haystack thing).

A friend just bought a used TinTin for $9700 from a Rolex/Omega dealer. It had some scratches but was clean. I will get his serial number and post it with his permission when I can. The price doesn’t seem to be going down on these. They are even more scarce and finding a NOS model probably impossible. Anything under $10,000 used is a good deal at this point.

Would have we liked the Tintin better with a red seconds hand?

Just curious, what would be the easiest way to sell one not going the ebay type route?

I don't want to, but a few things have come up that may force my hand.

Hmm, posting something like this on OF: "Just curious, what would be the easiest way to sell one not going the ebay type route?"

Where are you at? In the US there is Craigslist; other countries have similar sites. But if you want top $ go w/ eBay.

Alternatively, reach out to one of the OF resellers and see what they will offer you for it.

Hmmm, What forum would be better?

    Yes, I'm in the US.
But I understand about the EBay/Craigslist.

Try eBay or Chrono24. US residents pay a premium for this watch.
Resellers will offer a low price so they can get the extra money. Don’t even ask a reseller in my opinion
