Hi Guys, Sorry - I know valuation threads aren't particularly popular, but I am going to put this in the for sale section, but I really dont know what to ask for it. Its the first time I've had one of these straps, so I dont know how to gauge the condition. The prices seem to massively vary. It seems to be in good order to me, not too loose and all the stretch links are in good order and working well. One of the 516 end links has a couple of scratches which arent that clear in the pic - apologies for the quality of the pics, but I will try and post some better ones. The back of the buckle (the bit with 1039 on it) seems a little bent, but it closes together fine. Is it all genuine? Cheers Nick
I'm sure. I've been on the hunt for one of these today for my '67; they are few and far between (and no, I have not sent a PM -- probably a mistake on my part).
Nothing mate - Going to put it in the for sale section in a while, but was just looking for an appraisal first. I've had figures between $500 and $1200 and just want to put it on for a fair price.
The 1039 is my personal favorite - the perfect, minimal classic look for a perfect, minimal, classic watch. This looks like a nice wearable example and will be a great acquisition for whoever buys it!
well shoot, that sold before I could ask any questions about willingness to ship to US. Congrats on the quick sale.
