·I don't think you can conclude much from that (vendor's?) picture. Who put the Evil Eye in that sub-dial at 6? However the bezel on my 5455xxxxx Reduced is still in very good shape. I would worry about the loss of lume in the hands though.

·I too have a Speedmaster reduced. I’m not an expert, but from the look of the rest of the watch, I’d say the bezel could very well be original.

If you run a search for this model of the Reduced/Automatic on OF, I think you'll find that they go up for sale for a little lower than that. There were a few of them that went up for sale in the later part of last year. (although I have only seen one that I can remember go up for sale this year on OF)
You'll want to budget another $650 - $750 to have it serviced; as most all of the used ones on Ebay will be in need of a service. Omega charges $750 USD, you might be able to find an independent watchmaker to do it for a bit less. My independent was right around the same price as Omega (within $40).
I think that's a bit high, especially considering the hands are in pretty rough shape.
