I do like the JB champion bands but the prices of these have gone up s much, like the 7912-1039. I think there are some excellent bands out there for very reasonable prices, I picked up a couple of really nice 19mm bands original from Timex (of all things), they are milanese, really really well made and were £20 each, Ive fitted an omega clasp to one and current got it on one of my Ed White's, which looks absolutely amazing

I love wearing my 78' on a Forstner Komfit, 1171 as well as the nato and leather. Try and switch them up often.

There you go chaps, as requested

Very very well made, looks awesome and all for the princely sum of £18 shipped and £22 for the omega clasp

Found this thread whilst looking for bracelet advice so thought I'd share a pic:
    105003-65 on 1125/617
    - anyone else with this set up notice it jingles?
I only had it fitted today and I quite like the noise, but just wondered if it's normal?

i've tried this set up, but never got to wear it on the wrist because it was way too long for me at it's shortest :(

but yes, many of the older endlinks have a jingly kind of noise from my limited experience (i believe all those with hollow end links)

I tried a similar set up and it also rattled. It may just be me but I prefer the straight lugs on either a flat link bracelet or a JB Champion.
    Leather is entirely different.

Thanks for the reassurance, I like the jingle it's rather festive, as long as it's not bad for the watch I'll stick with it.
Had been wearing it on leather for a little while and totally agree leather seems to suit it.

I only changed to a bracelet option as I like the original 1035 but it is rather tired and I don't trust it for daily use.
    IMG_1149.JPG

Now I have an 1125 bracelet I'm tempted by a FOIS for daily use. Would provide a vintage feel/look in a watch I could use all the time i.e. keep my 105003 for best.

Where are you located. Maybe getting the 1035 restored would be an option? Keep it for good wear then.

I have a nice correct "Astronaut" JB Champion Mesh (below) but really like my 145.012-67 more on this 1116/575: It's period correct and strong enough for daily wear. IMG_4986.jpg IMG_4977.jpg 3.jpg

Of course it‘s a special wonderful jingly kind of noise which is very desirable........
