OK - so I have all the parts to put together a NOS Speedy in a 145.0022 case. Trying to decide which dial to use, any thoughts: Option 1: Japanese Racing Option 2: Snoopy Option 3: Chocolate (if I can find it) Option 4: Panda
personally I would go chocolate, I love the panda but for me to use white hands on a white dial make it too hard to tell the time.
If you're gonna make a franken, do it Godzilla style and go with the Japanese racing dial. Second choice is the panda.
I think you need this with a Pulsometer bezel http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Rare-Ori...00?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item1c38a47e38&_uhb=1Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
I'd go the panda as well, its the most striking of the dials. I have the white dial too, with standard hands and I've just bought a Japanese racing dial (standard Speedmaster) to go on my MkII - I prefer this dial to the MkII racing dial. My white Speedy and Panda (hands to be changed soon as I dont really like these ones)
+1 for the panda. stands out the most while also looking relatively classy. Though I agree with a prior comment that the darker hands would look better on the white dial if you can find those and incorporate in the build.
I still have the dial, hands & bezel from this Speedy. If you want them (1/2 price) let me know. This dial is grey.
