Hi guys I just bought a 29mill speedy mkII on a leather strap What bracelet ref is correct/should i look for? There is a 1117 fs in my area. Will that be period correct for a 1969? Best rgds, Kurt
It might, but wouldn't be correct, afaik. Bracelets aren't hard to find, but stand-alone end pieces are. If the one for sale in your locale has 154 end pieces, get it and wait for an 1159 to come up on eBay. Art
I think the 1117 are quite difficult to find so if the price is right then it could be a good purchase. The 1117 is practically the same as the 1159 but if I remember correctly a little narrower, the center of the link is the same but the links are little narrower than 1159. 1159 would be correct for early MkII and 1162 for later models but I'm not sure when they actually changed from one to the other?

My Mk II has a 1162 bracelet with a trapezoidal Omega logo on the clasp, and 173 end links... if that's any help.
