    Hi there,

I recently noticed that the top pusher cap on my old Mk II was loose and shortly thereafter it came off (luckily whilst I was sitting at my desk!).

I tried pushing it back into place, but I'm reluctant to try too hard at risk of breaking something.

I'm wondering if I should take it to a watchmaker, or is there a method to get it back on myself, and steps I could take to prevent it from happening again?

Had a search through the forums but no real luck.

    Any help would be great!

Here's a picture of the watch without the cap:

The pin that you see in the center of the part still in the watch is a screw which screws into the pusher (assuming its not broken off)
To refit this you will need to open the case, remove the movement and screw the pin back into the pusher.
It is straight forward but best done by a watchmaker. If the pin is broken then you'll need a complete new pusher.

Thanks a bunch @pascs - I'll take it to the watchmaker.
