I've been looking to exchange my service crown for an original flat footed one for my 105.012-65 and was wondering if I needed to have anything beyond the physical end-piece of the crown for it to be installed. Do I need one with a winding stem that will attach it to the rest of the movement or can they be installed without this?

Also, since I'm looking, I was curious what others have paid for one. I wanted to get a reasonable range to look for when negotiating. I know the platitudes about it being worth "whatever you're willing to pay" but advice would be appreciated.
