I have a ‘79 Speedy Pro 145.022 and I hate the bracelet. It f els cheap with the hollow end links what later model bracelets do you all advise for a replacement that has a more solid feel at a reasonable price? Would like to stay with an Omega bracelet.

I’m with you mate I hate the early ones too for the same reason despite having quite a few.

If you want to maintain the same look, the 1450/808 is from the 80s and looks like the 1171 but is very solid and strong without hollow links or end links.

Alternatively, given how expensive 1450s are now, I’d just go the whole hog and buy the current Cal 3861 Moonwatch bracelet and run that as it’s going to look great and be tight as a drum with a much better clasp.

Thanks so much for the advice. Now…to find one that someone doesn’t want an arm and a leg for!!

I think the new 3861 bracelet is available new from omega for around $700-800

That’s a lot less than the 1450s tend to go for in nice shape these days and it’s a better looking and more solid option imo

It is unhealthy to hate. If you don't like the bracelet you should change it, as stated above.

Honestly, I think that the last moonwatch with calibre 1861 is the worst of all.
