I know a few of you from the Tudor / Rolex side and have posted before on my 68 Seamaster 300 Big Triangle. It took a long time coming and one of the missing pieces - for me - was a vintage Speedy. This morning I picked up a 69 298xxxxx, seahorse back, 861, on a 1039 bracelet. I believe it is the Original T SM T Dial with a nice beige patina on the Trit markers. Like my 68 Tudors and SM300, UV LED gives a quick Torch and Fade with the same expected Lime Green. Finctions fine and keeps good time for the few hours in my possession. A little PlastX on the crystal (logo) and here it goes. So looking for some constructive opinion, if I did good, and if it looks as original as I think it is. Cheers, John
Saw you post this over on TRF glad to see more pics of this beauty!! Looks like a great example transitional '69[emoji1303][emoji1303]
Thanks guys - I am liking this more and more as I wear it - will take some shots of the bracelet and a couple family shots this weekend. I won't wear it on the bracelet as it would need more links. As for the rest of the collection, mostly Tudor and one other Omega. I will add a shot of my favorite new Tudor - 61 Exclamation Dial PCG
Ha! I am digging this watch. The fact that it gets equal wrist-time with the Tudors says something good with those that know me
