I am searching for a daily wearer.

Got an offer for the following at $2300 ($2500 taxes included). Would you buy it?

    Pros: 1450 bracelet. Nice dial.

Cons: Watch looks pretty tired. Replacement hands (?)

    Thank you very much.

    I saw this watch

Good price and very serious seller. The watch seems good but the bracelet is very tired (but with a good 1450, this watch will certainly be much more expensive).

As a Collectors Watch, maybe yes, maybe no.
But as a Daily Wearer, i think it has a really nice Face (Dial).

The Bracelet looks like a cheap Repair with the wrong or missing Parts.

Thank you all for your replies.

I have bought it. Before doing so i have checked with the watchmaker concerning service and bracelet repair.

Looks to me as though the problem area in the bracelet has been brought on by links that I think don't belong to that bracelet! May be possible to solve by removing those links. Depends on your wrist size.

Possible. As my wrists are tiny, there shouldn't be any problem with removing some links, if necessary.

Or fit a nice vintage leather or maybe a NATO strap?

Nice buy. Hands maybe replacements by the look of that Lume. Still, so what, nice watch and will look very sweet on a vintage leather single stitch strap.

It has arrived. Bracelet has its issues. Hope to sort that out later.

The watch is great! Lume on hand behaves the same as on the hour markers, so i tend to see them as original.

The great news: It is numbered "A 0819" which means that it is one of the first 1000 with a yellow Cal. 863.

    Nice watch.

If I was going to get a 'modern' Speedmaster (say 1974 and earlier), I would get one with tritium lume and the see through case back as well.
