    Hello OF!

I had the opportunity to stumble upon this Speedmaster. The seller just had these two pics (very crappy ones) but is willing to send me a few more today before we take care of payment. I figure I would share them here as a preliminary analysis. By my observations, it seems to be 105.002. SWISS MADE dials, with no T’s, Alpha hands, no professional text. Chrono cant tell if spear or not. Cant really see the serial number in the pic but it's showing what it looks like caliber 321. Once I get some more pics I will add them here.
Here the pics and have an awesome day:

Who is this seller? He can separate the dial from the case but can't take good photos? He will send you numbers on the bracelet clasp but not of the inside caseback or the movement (although it looks like one of those pictures is cropped?

You seem determined to buy it. How good is the price?

So I was dealing with a guy in Eastern Europe. Only reason why I did send the funds. Was because i have family there. So thought I would be safe as it’s a small country everyone knows each other. So right now he got the money. No omega.

Is he located in Malta? What did you pay if you don't mind me asking? Hope it was through PayPal and you can open a claim and get your money back!

Same exact watch. It was in Macedonia. He kept yanking my chain. Kept going. I let it go. It is what it is. Same pictures. Same run around. He has like maybe 4 more pictures. But that’s it. He can’t send you more. Because he doesn’t have the watch. No PayPal. I’m a risk taker though. I’m mad. But not that mad. As that what takes the risk and reward aspect. Part of the game.

Please don’t say. Ohh. If it sounds too good to be true it is. There are plenty of watches like this. To be bought. Even cheaper. At small villages in dangerous areas. Another example Venezuela.

Sorry, but a guy who is emailing detailed pix and dissembling the watch for photos is not likely to be selling a watch at 10-15% of its market value, IMO. I feel bad for you so I won't criticize but be realistic.

I once bought (by bank transfer) a Heuer 2446C with photos so bad and description so vague I didn't even realise it came with its correct double-grain Gay Freres bracelet. Sometimes it works out, doesn't it?

There’s a guy from Argentina on the Vintage Omega Speedmaster group that’s been trying to sell this watch for over a year...

So is he asking too much or is he a scammer also?
