Recently came across a few washed Speedies. And was thinking this afternoon on the beach what I would do to them. Relume them vintage or leave them washed?

Both are not factory specific so that is what really bothers me..

A thread is worthless without pics so therefore a pic of a watch which i had relumed vintage in the past (the relumed one is in the case).

I have two 105.012 dials which both have the removed lume and I've also wondered if I should relume them in a vintage colour. One is a dark brown dial and I'll most likely have it relumed since its my spare dial. The other which is fitted to the watch I'll probably leave washed since its original to the watch.
I think value wise, originality will always retain its value but appeal wise I think a well executed relume would be more visually appealing

That does add some real visual appeal to the watch especially along with his fantastic strap

I hope its ok to 'borrow' this picture from his page?

I'll have to wait for a day when my hands are super steady to give that a try :D
