    Hi All,

Yesterday I went to The Metropolitan Museum of Art and I purchased their last Speedmaster Moonwatch Chronograph 39.7mm The Met Edition. Ref 311.32.40.30.01.002

I called the Omega store at 5th avenue and apparently only 100 were made: 50 were allocated for the 5th ave store (sold out), and 50 were allocated for The Met.

This watch is basically the ref 311.32.40.30.01.001 (first omega in space) but with a different Nato strap and "THE MET" engraved on the back.

I think this watch is part of the same Numbered Edition as the first omega in space, but my question is:
is there a way to know between what two numbered editions these Met Editions fit?

    For example:
If The Met edition ran between Numbered edition 7500 and 7600, and I own No. 7505 I could assume its 5 out of 100.

Is there a way to see that type of information?

    Great looking timepiece.

Still wonder why Omega decided not to make all the small counter hands identical as they were in the original CK2998?
The two counter hands, minute and hour, are different then the second small counter at the nine position which retains the original appearance.

All time keeping hands are sword hands while the chronograph hands are stick hands. That's the practical use of the different shapes, but why they chose that..?

Yes, I see the logic in having all "time keeping" hands the same shape, but, honestly, logic be damn, it doesn't look right to the eye, there is a loss of symmetry and balance... they all should have been sword hands as in the original CK2998.
