A lot of the Teutonics up for sale have pretty bad condition hands... I'd guess they've tried to sex this up with a set that fits an 861, but was not intended for this model.

My bigger concern would be whether that "paint" will come off of the bezel, and whether it's been up there to cover something up.

The dent in the lug at 1-2 o'clock is also less than ideal...

Haha - never heard of 'sexing' up a watch, but I guess if you love it enough :p .

Teutonics tend to sit unsold for a LONG time - with price expectations above market.

I'd guess this was a bit of an ugly ducking, that someone picked up cheap, and has tried to beautify.

But much like putting lipstick on a pig, this hasn't helped.

Doesn't look to nice? Tatty painted blue dots on the inner ring :( That will probably wear of rather fast?
Not to my taste. The original Teutonic is okay though. A nice watch for a nice money?
