The tension ring is sold together with the crystal. I’ve never seen one sold individually.

Hi, I have an Omega Seamaster De Ville with a dial and crystal in perfect shape but missing a gold tension ring. See pics. Would be open to buying a new crystal (original or generic) with ring if needed, but I'm first looking for the ring itself. I understand this is a "restricted part" per a few online wholesalers. Any advice?

Chances are that a generic crystal was used, and chances are it wouldn’t have had a tension ring. If you were locate a tension ring for a genuine crystal for that model, it wouldn’t fit a generic crystal. A new crystal would come with a tension ring. Why you wouldn’t go that route is a puzzle to me. Usually, when one of these crystals is replaced, the old crystal and tension ring are turfed. So I wish you luck in your hunt.

In the photo of the watch it looks like the crystal has an omega logo so may be genuine. It's a bit of a longshot but if you manage to find someone that owns the same reference or one that uses the same crystal they may have an old crystal with the tension ring

There was a seller that sold genuine tension rings on eBay. I had a steel DeVille with an incorrect gold tension ring, and replaced it with a correct steel one.

If you find/post the dimensions you could find someone to help you out of the goodness of their hearts but you'll need the dimensions

I used to buy random crystal batches, it turned out 50% of them were wrong size and also maybe 20% of them only had a ring inside

But like others said, just buy a NOS crystal for $60 ish, easier
