I am thinking I would like to put away my watch band for save keeping and put on a strap. I may wear it more like that. I have the white dial triple 3523.30. What size do I need to look for? Is Ebay a good source? I am thinking some kind of brown with texture and a bit of shine, opinions??

These 40mm cased triple dates have a 19mm lug spacing. I just purchased a really nice shark skin stap and a sailcloth strap from Stapped for Time on the interweb. They have many nice straps (such as Hadly Roma, Hirsch and some nice generics) at good prices. I'm sure others will chime in with other options soon.

I had found that link. I just went back and ordered two straps and the kit to change things myself.

Take your time removing the bracelet as this can be a little tricky the first time and have a clear work space as its easy to loose small parts otherwise. I have lost spring bars in the carpet and it can be a bear to find them. Also I will suggest to lay out a small towel or cloth to work on, things tend to not roll away doing this and it protects the finish of the watch as well. Just my two cents...

Go for it! I've had a couple of different straps on my Speedie and am thinking about a third...concur with some of the challenges mentioned with getting the bracelet off. Mine was a bear!

    I picked a
Hirsch Duke Alligator Grain Watch Band Strap Black 19mm
    and a
Hirsch Duke Alligator Grain Watch Band Strap Tobacco 20mm

I went a little cheap for starters. Just not sure how to match that silver dial yet.

I have all tile floor, so that helps. I was planning to use a new shammy to work on. Should I get one of those case holders for $20?
I am looking for some YouTube vids to help.

It kind of sucked that the first 4 straps I picked, they were sold out of or did not have in a 19mm, or the color I wanted.

Nice, I have a black Duke on one of my vintage watches. I don't think a case holder is absolutely nessesary but it could make things a little easier. And yes, a 19mm strap is a less common size but there out there. Pictures when your done!
