·Sorry for the dumb question as am new to all of this but what was the rationale for not going with a step-dial on that model?
EDIT: on the other hand, the Alaska III didn't have a step dial, so there you go 👍

·Today was an annular solar eclipse here in TX, ST1 was the choice. Have this on a walnut palmelatto racing strap from Genteel with a RM style deployant buckle from Artem. Good looking and functional.

But the all brushed treatment, except for the Omega logos on the crown, buckle and dial, is very unique, it really looks like aluminum.

Another thing that maybe Robert-Jan can answer is whether they considered adding a radial bezel or decimal bezel instead of the regular one?
