Isn't the 321 bracelet 19mm and therefore the A11 50SS 20mm would fit the Snoopy 50SS.
Yes, the 321 is 19mm. Its bracelet will not fit the new Snoopy.

Just posted this on the other Snoopy thread.

So will summarise here;

Deposit paid, 10%, fully refundable.

OB has set a limit on the number of deposits to be taken.

Minimal information on numbers being produced, the length of production, how quickly watches will become available etc..

Questioned about flipping.

Watches will not be available until 2021, they expect the first deliveries in January or February but exactly what will be in this first batch is unknown, (or at least they're not saying).

Now just have to sit back and wait.

Robert said it will be Nov and the website said end of October, so it should be available next month, finger crossed

No doubt some OB's will get their allocations this year but I was told this morning that mine wouldn't be seeing anything until 2021. If anything changes they will let me know.

My expectations were set towards the end of Q1 2021 or early Q2.

Probably will be available to some countries in Oct/Nov (I'm guessing Switzerland gets first dibs) while where ever Martin_J_N is located will get theirs in 2021.

I am very happy with the bracelet. I really never got warm with the original strap, to stiff and to big with the clasp (tooo small wrist maybe). With the bracelet my Snoopy 2 is as comfortable as the Standard Speedy and rattles like the old ones 👍

I am sure that I am going to buy another 1171/1 for Snoopy #3.

Very happy and would never change back.

1171 is great but 321 may look even better if it fits
Like they say on the tube in London, mind the gap.😗

10% is ok really. I was in a well known AD with whom I have a long relationship and they wanted 50% to secure the watch. They have a list of interest of which I am on (3rd). I would get the first one if I make the deposit (trumping those that have not).

I’ll see. I don’t really want to shove over £4k down (refundable) but they reckon like you early 2021. When I secured the Apollo 11 they wanted 20%. Just goes to show how the world is changing for these luxuries I guess.

I do wonder if the deposits being asked are to make some flippers think a little before placing an order as the cash flow maybe tied up a little longer? I haven't been asked to place a deposit here in the UK before although admittedly, I haven't been into my watches for more than a year so have limited experience... I was only asked for ~5% from my AD.

As mentioned in another thread, the thought of owning both 50th Anniversary ss pieces gives me goosebumps and could well be me done, more than happy regarding Speedmaster ownership.

With my eyes being opened by OF, there are so many brands and models, it's made me feel like a kid in a sweet shop.

It’s been a practice for some time with mine. They have a list of ‘interest’ and then definites. Effectively the deposit (refundable) gives me the first one that comes in and I can decide to pay the rest once seen or get it back.

otherwise, I’m third on the list and that might be the first watch or the third depending on who wants what.

I didn’t mind paying the 20% for the Apollo 11, and they were as good as their word. 50% for this is a bit harder to swallow but I guess it’s exactly as you say in that with Rolex being ever more difficult to get, flippers will be looking at this as a potential vehicle to make some money. Also watches seem to gain more hysteria now than ever so I guess it sorts out those just waiting to see what it does resale.

I may end up paying it. Especially since it seems the bracelet from the Apollo 11 will fit (the case seems to have the same ridge)....I think they’d make a nice duo

Yes @steve14, the A11 bracelet does fit. As well as confirming my interest on the 5th, that was my only other question. When I got the call re: deposit, I was informed that the bracelet is officially a modification as it isn't standard out of the box, I'll be taking my bracelet with me once it's in. If I buy, it will be fitted, I'll then consider another.

Yes, a great duo to wear and admire for the next 50, hopefully they are still arriving in the UK by the end of Q1 '21...

Too bad it will be years before many of us get a chance to purchase one

Anyone out there with recent experience of the wait list?
At least it should be easier to get than a Daytona
