Hello I think I have found my next grail watch. Speedmaster reduced for Japanese market. reference 3510.52.00 For me the reduced is perfect size so I'm not interested in moon versions but of course as watch nerd I would like to have something little more special. Then I stumbled on this version in the deep end of internet. There doesn't seem to be too much info about these. Are they rare even in Japan? How many where produced? Whats the story here. I love how the dial is much more elegant than the normal version and the white sub dials. Wish I could find one. If some one has some tips where to locate one I would be truly happy.
Revese Panda. I grabbed one from forum member malkav several months ago. You may want to PM him for some more info. I was told they were just for the Japanese market, so I imagine they are somewhat hard to come by. Good luck on your quest.
I have one in blue, the reference number on mine is 3510.82 and only 1,500 were produced for the Japan market
While overseas sellers mentioning 1500 pcs were made for this Japan domestic model, I noticed that all Japan dealers said only 1000 pcs were made. Can anyone confirm this?
+1 for the Japan Blue. Bought from a member here (thank you, Sir) and serviced by James at Harris Horology. I think that black one looks great too. Good luck in your search.
