Hi, been into watches for decades, but never had an OMEGA before. So when falling in love with a Speedmaster recently (never clicked before, but now it does), I started some research on models, prices etc and got confused… I like manual watches, prefer plexiglass instead of sapphire and not fancy a glass bottom and for the Speedmaster prefer a leather / textile strap instead of the metal one, so this all brought me to the 42mm. In the second hand market aka ebay and chrono24 I found LNIB models with leather strap and metal bracelet for almost the same price (around 3,000 EUR). Why are the metal bracelet models same price? Shouldn't those be more expensive? And, can one just remove the metal bracelet and change it for a leather strap or are the horns etc different and this won't fit? You can change the metal bracelet to leather on all models. To your other question above buy one with a bracelet if they are the same price or try and knock a few $ off for one without.
