Hello! New to the forums here! I received a Speedmaster Professional from a family relative, and I want to find its exact model number and ID. I'm not entirely familiar with Omega / Speedmaster's serial #s and generations (its the only Omega I have), so I'm posting here to see if I can get some help from fellow Speedy owners. The number on the case back begins with 770xxxxx, I believe its a newer model. Would someone be able to advise on the exact model number? And, specifically, which caliber it would be using? Attached are some photos I took of the watch (including the case back). Thank you!
I believe the reference stamped inside the caseback should be 145.0022 and/or 345.0022, which is basically the same thing. The Omega reference is probably a 3570.50, and the caliber should be 1861.
Based on the serial number I can make out...it's a 35705000, which will have a Cal. 1861 inside. Cheers, Al
Fairly modern luminova dial. So post that change and case back could tell you before or after the model number change. So post 1997 and the model number on the inner case back might narrow it a bit more.
Thank you, @Livesimply11 ! Yes, haha.....that is me, I'm a stormtrooper. Speedmaster is very suitable for stormtroopers, we travel in space quite often.
