Can anyone tell me what the typical fix is for a chrono subdial hour marker that doesn't quite reset to the perfect 12 noon position? The chrono runs smoothly but just doesn't quite reset perfectly. It's for a 145.022-76. Thank you very much.

Quite possibly it's just not pressed on in the right orientation. I watchmaker could pop it off and back on easy enough.

If it resets to the same position every time and stays put then the chrono creep argument doesn't come into it and the hand probably just needs to be adjusted.
If the hand resets differently each time then it's probably loose on the stem.

I have let the chrono run for a couple hours twice now and it does reset to the same position.

Then the hand just needs to be removed and set back on in the right position. Hour recorder creep is a completely different problem...
