Pleased to see this new model this morning. Looks very good to me and for a co-axial the price of £3,600 seems good.

That's actually quite nice. The oval dials really suit it.

Teddy bear counterweight on the seconds hand = deal breaker IMO.

That does kind of suck. Especially since this watch otherwise passes as a masculine version of a model that in its other colors and iterations seems to be oriented more towards women. Omega always seems to go one step too far in its special editions. 👎

I'm not too keen either on the Ted, but it's surely no more inappropriate than that damn cartoon dog? (With all due respect to NASA and its adoption of Snoopy).

Even in the masculine colors the oval date window makes it feel super feminine to me.

That being said I love this model for women, and think it looks great.

I wonder how Omega will do with its new 38 mm Speedmaster in all of its colors and variations? I know that increasing their sales to women is a present point of focus for them. For me, the perfect size for a women's watch is now up at around 32-34 mm. Until now, I don't think Omega has ever tried to make a chronograph as small as that, or one at any size designed specifically with women in mind. And certainly 38 mm is not pushing it over the edge for a woman's size these days. So I guess I'm starting to see why this watch is such a big deal for Omega.

Speedy dates look great on women with small wrists at @40mm

Heck this ones on a custom short strap for my GF on the shortest hole.

Seriously..what is that for? Style at Omega has succumbed marketing idiots that formerly worked in the food industry?

EDIT: a Teddy???

Again with the awful counterbalance widgit on the sweep seconds hand... be it 007 or a bear, it's ugly.

How about a 'Time4APint' special edition with a dinosaur on the end of the second hand? 😲

Some bits are nice but not so sure the date is the right place. Might make the hour chrono hard to read.
