Just checked mine for alignment and it’s just like yours . I hope Omega will correct the alignment and possibly fit a new Crystal under warranty , I don’t want to wear the watch anymore , bitterly disappointed by Omegas lack of QC .

on my Seamaster Trilogy the logo is centered perfectly, checked with a few other owners and alignment was also centered so seems this may have been done with more care on the trilogies.

I decided to unbox and take a go at it myself since I'm sure the service centers are swamped. It can't be that hard to disassemble, rotate the crystal and then put back together. Hold my beer....

I’m pretty sure Archer once mentioned that Omega makes no effort to line up the Omega logo on the hesalite.

Please someone tell this just isn’t true , this is like a nightmare coming true . And to think only 1 hour ago I was at peace with the world .

I have never seen a lined up one when I’ve looked at them in shops!

nah, you had better just send it off to me, it would be too much hassle and cost associated with a crystal rotation, the watch is totaled, you are gonna have to get rid of it....
dont worry, ill somehow manage to weather through it.

A proper pair of Vise-Grips and a little twisting and you can nudge the symbol into its proper orientation.

Thanks for the offer , I’ll post off to you tomorrow. I’m off to put together my letter to Omega expressing my bitter disappointment in their QC & how the crystal logo debacle is far more widespread than first thought .

It's not by any means a 'debacle,' lol.
Official Omega policy is to affix the crystal according to the location of the seam on the tension ring, not the orientation of the crystal. The trilogy Seamaster and Railmaster models had aligned crystals because they use sapphire instead of hesalite.

I have always worked on the basis that when I see a Hesalite crystal with a perfectly alighted crystal logo, clearly at seem point it has had a replacement crystal since the factory seem to delight in putting them on any old way. This of course is not a problem, crystals are routinely replaced at service time but when you are offered a barn find never opened watch with an aligned crystal, the Spidey Sense should be tingling...
