watchcollect
·For sale. Speedmaster Mark II Racing Dial 145.014
Offered at $ 1400.00 USD.
CONUS shipping and insurance included. Returns not accepted.
Watch has NOT been serviced by me sinced owned. I had originally wanted to use the watch for another project but that has been scrapped for other endeavor's.
Watch is in as found condition.
Case has original sunburst finish and is crisp and well defined. Minor dings and scratches are present and appropriate from general wear of a watch this age. All hands are original and match the dial as can be seen in photos below. Crystal is clean and free of any gouges, scratches or any other defects. The Hippocampus on case back is present but faint in appearance.
Dial is clean except for a small scratch / debris present just to the left of the first subdial between the 23 and 24 marker.
861 movement is functioning but service history is unknown and is highly recommended. Rough estimate of the age given the movement number would be early seventies.
Bracelet is 1159 with 20mm 154 ended links. Clasp is slightly bent and bracelet is missing links on the shorter end.
This watch would clean up nicely for daily use or could be used as a donor for other projects.
Feel free to reach me by PM for any other info needed. References are available on request.
