Speedmaster Mark II mods

Hi there,

I have a heavily worn gold-plated Speedmaster Mark II MD 145.034 (caliber 861). I got it serviced lately and we tried to find a way to fix the case but it came out impossible. The only option is to get a NOS case for it, but I think that's even more difficult to find.

I've been thinking about putting the movement and dial to a different case. I have two questions:

-would it fit to a 145.014 steel Mark II case
-would it fit to a Speedmaster moonwatch case
