I have a speedmaster Chronograph with an offset logo. Why is the logo at the 3:00 vs. the usual 12:00?

That's a 3520.50 (often referred to as Mark 40), and that's how the dial layout is supposed to be. There's plenty of variation in the non-Professional Speedmaster line.

Because that model, known as the Triple Date or Mark 40 is not the same as the Moonwatch, also known as the Speedmaster Professional. Yours is quite different and has an automatic movement derived from the Valjoux 7750 with a couple of extra complications. The bezel and crystal are very different also. It is a different watch altogether.
