·For all the people carping about the 44.25 mm case, this wears small in black ceramic and with manual movement. Try it on before instantly dismissing it.
This is correct. This variant wears surprisingly well on a wrist as small is 6.5" when compared to the other dark side variants. The updated Apollo 8 is 0.8mm thinner than the outgoing version so it will likely wear even better. Also, keep in mind that lug-to-lug length is practically the same as the 42mm Seamaster diver. The leather strap does flare out a bit. I am hoping the new rubber strap design addressed that issue. This is a very cool watch, let's see how quickly they hit the secondary market and where the prices settle...
