Yes, as I've already said parts can be used on different case references. This is common across many Omega products, so not at all unusual. You seem to be drawing some specific conclusion from this, and I am not clear what that is. I have read all the posts you have made...

I am only trying to find out the difference in the two cases . Maybe i am wrong in the most i write but we are getting a discussion about it ? That is how i work things out . If i am wrong i ask an other question and learn something from it . We are trying to find out what is "special" about the SP cases .

I've alredy listed the differences between the 1450012 and 1450012SP cases...the case tube and crown are different, but all other parts related to water resistance are the same, so case back gasket, crystal, and pushers. Also, as I've already said, these are current parts and the originals very well could have been different.

SP is special pushers as confirmed by others. Also called out as such by mwo.

Here is an oddball dual marked 105.012-66 CB with 145.012SP added.

 

Good work finding this information. I thought I had read this before. I believe 67 may have been a year for several transitions, cal 321 and increased water resistance which may have involved redesigned pushers and possibly crown.

Would be nice if someone could document a change in water resistance coinciding with introduction of the 145.012 67SP. My theory is that the following reference, 145.012 68 and 145.022, incorporated these changes thus the "SP" was not included.

I am still perplex on this Special Poussoir , especially because other omega caseback have this ref without any pusher.

And when i read the table from AJTT, it is written that 145003 case are an enhancement of 105003 case , 145012 is an enhancement of the 105012 case but not only in pusher... And there is a ; before SP= Special ...

 

the problem is you're looking for a definitive answer. Omega can make SP mean whatever they like in whatever context they prefer.

 

Different makers mark the cases the same way ? Could it be so easy as spècialité .
