    Hello,

I’m considering a 1171/633 bracelet/endlinks for my 005 Moonwatch. I know that the opinions around this combo are mixed. It is flimsy an light, I know this. But will it hold? Are the pins good enough for keeping the watch safetly on the arm long term?

Alsi - in order to attatch the endlinks to the watch you have to adjust them slightly. Why is this? Has the Speedy case changed through the years?

I bought a 1171/633 and didn't have to adjust it at all, it fit right onto my current reference Speedmaster Professional. It stays on the watch head as well as any other bracelet from what I can tell. I never use it though because I can't make it small enough to fit my wrist (5.8 inches) it doesn't have enough removable links.

Do you mean the vintage 1171/633 or a modern one?

Mine was the modern one I ordered it at an AD and it took nearly 2 months for them to get it. I don't really know if there's any difference between the new/old one other than the clasp logo being in a square rather than a trapezoid.

New ones have pinned links rather than screwed and are generally feel more flimsy and tartly than the original, vintage 1171's.
