Speedmaster bracelet fakes caution?

Hello I'm thinking about picking up a pre owned speedmaster bracelet online (the newest moon watch one) but am unsure if there are any fakes about? I haven't read about this bracelet being faked yet but I'm also not sure what I'd be looking for?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I’m fairly positive it has been faked.

Simple buy from an Omega Boutique if you are unsure. These Omega owned stores are you best bet for bracelets. Authorized Dealers are worthless for this. No one will discount bracelets and straps.

You can find your nearest boutique on Omegas website and they can ship to you.

Thank you. I can't see any fakes online. Any way to tell the difference between fake and real. I wanted to buy one preowned to save some money as a brand new one in the U.K is very expensive

They pop up here on OF from time to time. If one is offered with all three red cards with matching serial numbers, box, etc it's not like to be a fake. Places like C24 has a bunch of them, doubt if any are fakes if bought from a reputable seller. Ask questions.

Unfortunately the bracelets don't come with serial or any cards. The seller says he has removed it from his moon watch since doesn't use it and is selling it

Sorry, I thought you were looking for a complete watch. Some people remove the bracelet and sell it, so it's a viable way to get one. I've got four unused 1861 style bracelets that I will never wear, but I just put them away with the watch boxes so when I eventually sell the watch the bracelet will be there for the new buyer. Ask for pics and talk to the seller, not likely to be a fake bracelet. And always make sure all the links are there, sometimes they get 'lost' along the way.

No apology needed! Yeah That's what I'm hoping. Was hoping to get some tips to see I'm not getting a fake. It's a good price but not too good to true kinda price. I'll keep an eye on the links, thanks!

It would be difficult or impossible (cost prohibitive) to fake the micro adjustment clasp. Just be sure to get good pics of the underside of the clasp before buying.

They fake Seamaster micro-adjust clasps and the Rolex glidelock, so I’m pretty sure they can fake the one on the Speedmaster.

Great news....I can hardly wait to buy a perfect micro adjust link for my AT...at a bargain price!

Just to clarify - fakes do exist, but I’m not saying they are the same quality as OEM. If you want to put a fake clasp on your real watch and risk it breaking and potentially risking the watch falling off your wrist, that is on you. Myself, I’ll spend the extra few hundred dollars for the real thing. Genuine clasps aren’t that expensive.

Saying they're not the same quality kind of supports my statement that they're not capable or willing to make a accurate quality fake. I understand your point of buying genuine, but I wouldn't hesitate to put a quality strap or bracelet on any watch I own, despite the country of origin. My post was meant to be somewhat sarcastic. The equivalent to "I'll believe it when I see it...and if I do, great!", since I've yet to see a high quality knockoff of the Omega clasp; my point in saying it might be one way of identifying a fake.

Just buy the whole thing and toss the head. What could go wrong?

I don't know it's the capability that's being questioned. More so are there any fakes in the market available and what the tell signs? If you couldn't tell a fake/benefit from the real deal, it makes the real deal slightly redundant.
