Hi guys I need your help !
Does anyone know where I can pick up a Speedmaster Mark ii box? I bought the watch on Friday but the jeweller who is cutting ties with Omega didn't have the original box. I've asked Omega direct and the want £50 which seemed a bit steep. And advice would be appreciated.

£50 isn't too bad compared to what some sellers are asking for beat up boxes on e-bay. Did you get the cards with the watch?

 

Which box are you looking for? You didn't state which Mark II (original or re-issue) you might have. I'm only asking because if you have an original Mark II from the late 60's, early 70's then finding an original box for that piece will be hard and expensive. If you have a reissue then finding those boxes (Red Leather, Gold Insignia, white interior with double pad) and associated packing items is much easier.
A pic of what you're looking for would help in terms of other offering pricing assistance.

hi yeah I've got the cards and other stuff. I do have a box, pic attached ..... But as you can see it's not what I'd want to keep !

 

It's the new reissue, having looked on eBay £50 from Omega isn't bad, at least it's the right box for the watch. I could sell the box it came in if anyone can tell me what watch it's for?

50 quid for another box isn't bad if it's from an Omega AD. Also, you can probably make back your investment if you sell the original. Similar ones on the 'bay are going for $100 and up

 

That's just like the one my wife's Ladymatic came in.

 

It's got to be a woman's watch box with the bow on top ! It needs to go !!!

£50 inc delivery wasn't to bad I suppose...

 

The hideous box has just sold for £44 on eBay. The proper ox will now be ordered !
