Hi all,

Still thinking of my first Omega, the toss up is between a Speedy or Seamster. I've come across an older Speedy '3549' model which I love the look of the dial, applied logo, broad arrow hands. Although I'm not sold on the steel bezel compared the standard Pro black bezel, are these interchangeable at all? Thanks

I see. The bezels should be interchangeable from my own experience.

I'd vote for keeping the watch unmodified. I like this reference. It looks good and is undervalued still.

Which Seamaster do you have in mind on the "contrary"?

Cannot decide between the older style SMPc, love the inky black gloss dial (& a bonus the date wheel matches) but also like the blue dial (to which I don't own in my collection) plus the black date wheel on blue dial might annoy me! Collection consist of divers, so fancy also fancy a Speedy, just unsure how I 'd get on with a chrono. Might wait until the new movement moonwatch is released and decide. However the 3549 I do like, twisted lugs, applied logo.

I also love the current bond model, just not the price for me or crows foot logo.

I am not a sales agent, but I would go for a Speedy first and see what comes next.

Post pictures and price information here, once you decided which watch you want to go for.

There is always great help from the gals and guys here for sure.

I love the steel bezel on the 3594 so much, I wish I also had it on my Mitsukoshi mod. I half wish we could trade!

I can confirm that the steel bezel on the 3594.50 is fully interchangeable with standard black bezels. I currently have my reissue modified as an apollo 11 35th anniversary (see avatar pic) - while saving all the reissue parts for later use of course!

Brilliant thank you for confirming. I'll wait until the announcement on the new moonwatch and decide what route I'd want to take.

Due to loc kdown boredom and procrastination of working. Can anyone with much better photoshop skills, show me an image of the 3594.50 with a normal pro bezel? I like the pro case & bezel but prefer the broadarrow hands and applied logo of the reissue.

Thanks
