It actually takes on lots of different looks. Can be bright blue in direct light, dark blue to black in normal light and on low light it goes dark and all you can see are the applied markers and hands.

I think it鈥檚 stunning, and it鈥檚 barely been off my wrist since I got it.

First time poster btw, but have been about on the Rolex forum for ages and am looking forward to contributing here.

Mine arrived at the ON on December 19, the anniversary of the end of the mission, but I was not able to pick it up until yesterday. I'm really pleased with it! As Stevec 14 noted above it has a lot of differe nt looks depending on the lighting. These pix were taken in direct sunlight - please forgive any posting errors as they are my first pix posted.

Just contributing a few shots of mine. The box is really cool! Haven't gotten around to go through it though.

The shots really don't do the blue justice. It looks much better in real life.

Love the blue and gold on this. Anyone have a lume shot? Would it be the same as the Speedmaster professional?

Just an iPhone shot, but you can get the idea.

I went to collect my reserved stainless steel one from a London OB today. I then saw the gold one and wow! I was instantly put off buying the ss one and have asked the OB to see if they can get me a gold version. Unlikely they said but if I'm gonna get one of these it has to be the gold. The gold case and blue dial just works so well.

I think Singapore OB can still get one in gold at RRP. Not sure about waiting time though. You can contact them direct.

Any owners actually got a replacement box for the correct print 'mankind'? I have checked with my local Singapore AD but no luck so far.

Bit of a shame that there won't be two styles of boxes, would be another collectible ;-)...

Sometimes it depends on your luck. I was just browsing at Singapore Changi airport and there it was sitting in the display case. The sales representative told me that it just came in and I was the first customer asking to look at it.

I really don't have any intention to buy but once it was on my wrist, I knew I had to take it home. Guess it was pure luck that I got mine.

The blue ceramic dial and bezel are truly stunning.

I am visiting the UAE for a few days, and saw a brand new one at an OB for roughly MSRP + 5% VAT. Thinking hard ...

Did not sing loud enough for me. If anybody is interested, it is at the Mall Of The Emirates OB in Dubai, number 14xx.

It is a surprise that so many sets are still unsold. There is a waitlist in the Singapore OB.

or about $6800 USD, ~= US $6500 Msrp + 5% UAE VAT.
