    Hi guys,

I'm looking at doing the 6 position adjustable clasp upgrade for my speedy 311.30.42.30.01.005. Could someone advise which end links I need to buy to do this as I believe there are some that people have used that don't articulate properly.

    Thanks.

I researched this and read many threads on a couple of forums (google is your friend) and it seems that is a trade-off to this modification. It's likely the end-links you will need to mate up to one of the three options (yes, three!) for clasps may not articulate with the clasp like the original and will not exactly match your bracelet.

I'm doing this to my 3573.50 and ordered:
    Clasp - 117STZ001154
    End links - 118STZ000015

In doing my research, I've found there are three clasps available:

    117STZ001154 -- 6 positions
    117STZ001159 -- 6 positions + diver extension
    117STZ004666 -- 3 positions

For my bracelet, there are two different end links people have gone with:

    0118ST1589
    0118STZ000015
    118STZ004975

    Just in case:
    Pins : 128ST0166 x 2
    Screws : 124ST3307 x 4

But I have confirmed that the endlinks I purchased (the 00015) come with two pins and four screws.

Hope all this helps at least a little. Since this modification is not recognized by Omega, many / most boutiques will not perform it, but you can order the parts from them. Good luck, hope this helped a little. Again, Google is your friend. Also your future overlord, resistance is futile, you will be assimilated... but that's a topic for another day.

I don't think they do. Omega is still using the shorter, slimmer clasp with "Speedmaster Professional" on it, that only has the two micro-adjustment (with a tool) points.

This is another topic I love/hate having discovered this forum for. My Speedy is a 2005 model; and after years of dealing with a bracelet that was either too tight or too loose, I first added a leather strap (not a big deal) and then spent $400 on parts so I can put an adjustable clasp on the bracelet.

Just finished this modification. Took my time and managed a zero-scratch conversion. I love having an adjustable bracelet already, especially in this climate.

I did this modification recently and except for the price, it's amazing! It makes the watch so much easier to wear. I could not wear it at all with the normal clasp. But the 6 position adjustable clasp makes all the difference!

I bought the 6 position clasp without the diver's extension (117STZ001154) and the two end links for it (0118ST1589). Worked like a charm!

I did this operation a year back and made my Speedy an all weather super comfortable wrist watch. It was the best investment on a watch..

I couldn't agree more. I hope the next moon watch has one. No reason for it not too!

I did that same modification to my Speedmaster Pro a couple of years ago and have no regrets.

I think that the adjustable clasp alone was a direct bolt on for my 2015 Seamaster Pro ceramic chronograph, and for my 2016 Titanium Planet Ocean 9300 (using titanium parts). I don’t believe I needed any links.

I also have the titanium six position clasp (117TIZ001151) and the titanium links that I plan to install on my Speedmaster X 33 soon.

I don't understand why they don't add some form of it to every watch they sell with a bracelet....

Larry, did you look at the possibility to put an SM300 ti clasp on the x33 ? I have the project to grab an x33 gen3 and was wondering about this mod. If possible, that would be a cool mod.

That's the one I bought - just haven't tried to install it yet. It should work with the 118TI1589 links.
