Is there any insight here as to the possibility of the 9900 coming to the Speedmaster '57 line this year? I've been waiting for this to happen for about two years. The METAS "Master" certification is nice, but the reduced thickness is what I am after. I tried the Racing Master Chronometer and the 2015 orange/faux-lume '57 at a boutique in early 2018 and found myself wishing the '57 sat as low as the racing. I believe the '57 is a hair over 16mm, and the Racing a hair under 15mm.

I'd like to think I have the patience to wait on good information, but if I see a deal on the blue dial '57 I'm going to jump on it. It's one of those wonderful positions to be in - waiting gives you something you want and not waiting gives you something now
